NORTH KINGSVILLE — Work on the Risberg Pipeline is expected to start soon in North Kingsville.

At Wednesday’s meeting, Mayor Tim Zee announced that construction crews for the Risberg Pipeline expect to work to reach North Kingsville in the next four to five weeks.

The pipeline, expected to cost $86 million, will carry natural gas from a pipeline in Pennsylvania to North Kingsville, and will add 16 miles of new pipeline in Pennsylvania and 12 miles of pipeline in Ohio.

The pipeline started clearing and construction work in Pennsylvania earlier in 2019, and crossed into Ohio in early June. Construction is expected to finish in the second half of summer.
