An Erie company lays out its plans for an $86 million natural gas pipeline. RH Energy trans-holding a public information meeting in Edinboro last night. The company has already secured rights of way for the pipeline. They want to connect existing lines in the Meadville area then continue 28 miles through West Erie County into Ashtabula County this meeting included pipeline designers, contractors, and regulatory officials.
Dennis Holbrook, Council for RH Energy says, “we’re excited about the way it’s been received. Last night, we had close to 150 people that came out. We asked people to sign comment sheets; very positive responses.”
Construction of the pipeline could start as early as next year. The group meets at 5:30pm at the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department Social Hall.
